Virgil Adams is a native of Macon, Georgia and a 1977 graduate of Albany State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After graduating from Albany State, Virgil was admitted to the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in June of 1980. Following his graduation, and upon admission to the State Bar of Georgia, Virgil became Assistant District Attorney for the Macon Judicial Circuit, where he was assigned to the Trial Division. While at the District Attorney’s Office, Virgil handled and tried many serious, high profile cases. Upon leaving the District Attorney’s Office at the end of 1987, Virgil entered the private practice of law with the law firm of Mathis, Sands, Jordan & Adams, having offices in Macon and Milledgeville, Georgia. Since 2010, the law firm has been known as Adams & Jordan, P.C. and continues to maintain offices in Macon and Milledgeville. Caroline Herrington is a native of Blakely, Georgia and now resides in Bleckley County with her husband, Judson, and their two children. She graduated cum laude from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 2000. She then attended the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law and graduated in 2005. Caroline was a member of the Mercer Law Review and Moot Court Board. Caroline is currently a member of the Bootle Inn of Court, American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Macon Young Lawyers Division. Dawn Lewis is a Buncombe County, North Carolina native and a 1996 summa cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina-Asheville, where she earned the Ruth Feldman Outstanding Scholar Award; membership in Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honor society; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. At the conclusion of her undergraduate studies, Dawn was employed for three years as a circulation manager for the Asheville Citizen-Times and matriculated in music theory and analysis. Dawn attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where she graduated in 2003, cum laude, with a Juris Doctor degree. Dawn was a member and executive notes editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law; her research on music piracy and intellectual property issues is published at 10 JIPL 173 (2003). In her free time during law school, Dawn worked as a music journalist and reviewer for Flagpole Magazine in Athens, Georgia. Dawn was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2003, and is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts, as well as the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. Cedric B. Davis is an attorney who specializes in personal injury, wrongful death, professional negligence, product liability, workers' compensation, criminal and employment cases.
